We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to expand our team with a new Scrum master.
Your role at IRIS
As a full-time Scrum Master, you will:
- Help the team and the organization to apply agile methodologies in order to provide added value to the customer;
- Guide the team to become self-organizing and work in a multidisciplinary way;
- Guide the team on the right path to remove impediments in order to enable the team to reach their goals;
- Facilitate an environment focused on continuous improvement and keeping everyone engaged on the work;
- Support the team in problem-solving and conflict resolution;
- Communicate internally to the team, provide information to the relevant people and the Product Owner;
- Contribute to the progress of the various projects;
- Organize & moderate different Scrum ceremonies.
What boxes should you tick?
Skills can be learned, at IRIS we believe it’s the attitude that matters. However, in order to ensure a proper onboarding, it will be useful if you tick a few of the following boxes.
- At least 4 year experience of working as a Scrum master;
- Fluent in English with Dutch and/or French (one of this national language is mandatory);
- Certified Scrum Master or equal through experience;
- Knowledge on various Agile frameworks;
- Strong facilitation and communication skills;
- Change management – drive change towards an agile mindset;
- Good communication, transparency and organization skills;
- Diplomatic and a good listener and comfortable with conflict management;
- Autonomous and rigorous, you know how to raise alerts and take quick decisions.
